To explore our underwater world you will need to bring swim wear and a towel. We provide you with flippers and snorkel & mask. Warm clothing is also a good idea as it is always a bit cooler out at sea. We welcome you to bring aboard water bottles and food - light refreshments are offered on all tours. Bring a camera or phone to capture some of the most stunning places in the world and your sense of adventure!

Depart from Whitianga Wharf and cruise the breathtaking volcanic coastlines of Te-Whanganui-AHei (Mercury Bay) on the eastern side of the Coromandel Peninsula. Discover the hidden caves & tunnels, crystal clear emerald green waters, white sandy bays and jaw dropping cliffs only accessible by boat.
Paddle board into the famous Blow hole to experience crystal clear waters below and gaze up through the lush green canopy to the clear blue skies out the rocky rooftop overhead. Visit the iconic Cathedral Cove & Orua Sea Cave. Enjoy a snorkel or refreshing swim in the abundant ‘must see’ Cathedral Cove Marine Reserve. Take a leap of the famous jump rock at Cathedral Cove. Paddle board into the iconic Cathedral Cove beach and feel the awesome presence of the huge cavernous tunnel steeped with rich history and mana.

The ultimate adventure seeker trip that takes you to the epic ‘off the beaten track’ spots along the reefs & islands of the Coromandel Peninsula. We offer Hunter Gatherer Tours with our qualified rescue dive master and experienced kai moana hunter who knows all the best local spots.
You will get the opportunity to explore under the ocean gathering Crayfish, Paua, Kina & Mussels. Bring a spear or learn to use ours and catch some of the plentiful fish in our bay such as Snapper, Kingfish, Trevally & Kahawai. If you prefer using a rod try out some of our offshore island land based fishing spots only accessible by boat. Whether you are a seasoned pro or brand new to hunting Kai Moana we have the perfect spots to suit your skills and experience. If it is Island exploring you prefer we will take you to some of the most stunning remote islands. On your way keep your eye out for our resident dolphins, penguins, seals and huge schools of fish.
You might be lucky to experience an encounter with one of our visiting Whales and Orca. Explore the many breathtaking crystal clear bays and white sandy beaches. If a cancellation is made within 48 hours of the scheduled departure day no refund will be given. If we cancel a tour due to weather or unforeseen circumstances you will have a choice of moving to a new date/time or receiving a full refund.
